A strong academic program includes use of computers, research and report writing skills, as well as the basic academic areas. Service to the community is part of the curriculum.

With their greater maturity, these children are role models for the rest of the school. Field trips include a team-building retreat and multi-day trip at the end of the year. Destinations have included the Grand Canyon, Colorado, Charleston, Savannah and Pennsylvania.
